After dealing with the theoretical aspects of Modern British Literature, namely novels, we move to the study of Drama. In this semester, we cover mainly the aspects of Modern British Drama with a study of its historical backgrounds and illustrative works.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

♦ Define elements of Drama
♦ Read and interpret an illustrative piece of theatre.
